We (the owners) wanted to share why we loved living here, and why you will too! The natural light is spectacular, the huge window in the spacious bedroom that lets in so much fresh air and the eight-foot living room window spans almost the entire wall. When you look outside, it isn’t over a parking lot, or into someone’s backyard, you look out over a wide-open space and heritage building. We will never forget the evenings sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down or seeing the school light up during a thunderstorm. The rooms are large, open and bright, with enough room for a work from home set-up and plenty of storage space to keep the clutter low. Living on the top floor we rarely heard our neighbors, the building is clean and quiet, and the no smoking by-law means you never have to worry about the smell of smoke from neighboring suites.
Living here is not just about the modern yet welcoming space but also the neighborhood. We loved being able to walk everywhere. There is an awesome little FreshCo with a pharmacy, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, a library, Ashworth Homes Park, restaurants, thrift shops, downtown, and SIAST/Sask Polytech all within walking distance. Even the university and river are quick and easy to get to. The building has several bonus features including bike lockers and small garden plots, eight high-definition exterior security cameras, electrified parking, and a brand-new boiler (heating) and hot water system. We are moving on to the next phase of our life and will be sad to leave this place, but we know that you will love being here! We certainly did.
